  a+b=68---------(1)
  a*b=256
  So b=256/a-----(2)
  Put (2) in (1)
  a^2-68a+256=0
  On solving a=4 , b=64 or vice versa.

  x+y=68 ->eq1 x*y=256 ->eq2
  
  so,x=68-y
  substitute in eq2, (68-y)*y=256=68y-y*y=256=(y-4)(y-64)
