  Let the price of FMCG item be 'x' Rs.
  10% sales tax in the state X on purchase price above 100 Rs. = (x-100)*0.1
  8% sales tax in the state Y on entire price=x*0.08
  For sales tax in both the states to be equal, (x-100)*0.1=x*0.08
  0.1x - 10 = 0.08x
