ratio of M:W = 5:2
To find work put 5:2 in one of the side of equation
WD= (4*5+3*2)6 = 156
for 1W & 1M
Time = WD/there capacity
=156/(5+2)
= 156/7

- Let 1 man's 1 day work = x and 1 woman's 1 day work = y.
Hence, 4x + 3y = 1/6 ……i
and 5x + 7y = 1/4 ………ii
By solving i & ii we get y = 1/78 and x = 5/156.
Now x + y = 5/156 + 1/78 = 7/156
