33 men can do a job in 30days. If 44 men startd the job together and after every day of the work , one person leaves .what is the minimum number of days requred to complete the whole work

  Total work is of 33*30 =990 man days or units
  On 1st day 44 units, 2nd day 43 units, 3rd day 42 units and so on.. will be the work completed
  Now we can find how many terms of the series 44+43+42+..... will sum upto 990 and
  We find that sum of first 44 terms is (44/2)[2*1 + 43*1]=990
  So starting with 44 men and reducing 1 man each day, it will take 44 days to complete the work.
