In 1 kg mixture of sand and iron, 20% is iron. How much sand should be added so that the proportion of iron becomes 10%

Quantity of iron in 1 kg= 1*(20/100)= 0.2 kg
Let 'x' kg of sand is added so that iron is 10% in a mixture, then 0.2/(1+x) = 10/100

- in 1 kg... 800 gm is sand and 200 gm is iron. now 200 gm is 10% of 2Kg so we need 1 Kg of sand to make it 9:1 ratio for sand and iron
