Given distance=1500 km, Let usual speed=x km/hr, then increased speed=33.33% more than the usual=x*(100+33.33)/100=1.3333x= 4x/3
As per the given condition, the distance of 1500 km is covered in 1/2 hour less time with the increased speed, so 1500/(4x/3) = (1500/x) - (1/2)
=> 4500/4x = (3000-x)/2x
=> 4500 = 6000 - 2x
=> x= 1500/2= 750
