- Since chakkar and ghanchakkar move in opposite direction along the circle,so they will first meet at a sum of one round between the two.
Relative Speed of chakkar and ghanchakkar=(sc+sg)=24
sc=1/(4/60)=15round/hr
therefore, sg+15=24
sg=9 round/hr - 7 years agoHelpfull: Yes(2) No(0)

- when they are running in opposite direction then no of distinct meeting points =Sum of ratio of speeds in simplest form.
Now speed of Chakkar = 25/6 m/s. Let the ratio of speed of Chakkar and ghanchakkar be k then (25/6)/ghanchakkar=k so ghanchakkar=25/6k... So
24= 25/6 + 25/6k...-->>k=25/119
So ghanchakkar= 25/6k= (25*119)/(6*25)=119/6 m/s-->>> ans - 8 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(4)
- Ghanchakkar runs 1 and half km per minute so after 36 minutes i.e ghanchakkar runs 13 1/2 km to meet chakkar

- for one round by chkr, ganchkr makes 24 rounds. speed of chkr is 25/6 m/s.
Let total circumference be d therefore
d/(25/6)=24d/(speed of ghckr)
speed=100m/s that is 6km/min - 7 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
