• on adding individual digits we get
  
  6, 4, 5, 11, 9, 13, 5, 3, _
  
  Now, difference between 6 - 4 = 2, 11 - 9 = 2, 5 - 3 = 2
  and difference 4 and 5 is 1, 9 and 13 is 4, and hence difference between 3 and x should be 8.
