- as u see from the begining the series are such a order to confuse between (61*4=244) but staring from 9 we can find that a complete series have been seen from 9 to 167/37 i.e 9 = 244/25 approx. 9 and further see numerators 158=79*2 and third placre is 158 and further begins with the same 167*2=334 . Henceforth the answer is 334.

Let P=Rs x
Amount=S.I+P=(1062-x) for 2 years
=(1183.50-x) for 7/2 years
for 2 years, R=[(1062-x)*100]/2x-----------------eqn(1)
for 3 years, R=[(1183.50-x)*100*2]/7x------------eqn(2)
Now equate for R
(1062-x)/2x=(2367-2x)/7x
=>7434-7x=4734-4x
=>3x=2700 So, x=900
Put in eqn.(1)
(1062-900)=900*R*2/100
=>R= 9% - 8 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(4)
