• Answer is C because distance between 4.28 and -3.28 is 4.28-(-3.28)=7.46. If we add 1 to the both sides numbers changes to 5.28 and 2.28 and distance between them is 5.28-(-2.28)=7.46. so mathematically distance is same. Now logically speaking increasing 1 to a positive number increases that number by 1 and increasing negative number by 1 actually decreases the numerical value by 1 so result remains the same.
