• Let us assume grocer got 100g of butter of cost price rs. 100
  since, grocer is adding adulterated fat in it, so he will sell (100-x)gm at the selling price rs.100 to gain 25%,
  
  So, 100 - (100-x)/(100-x) = 25/100 Using (S.P. - C.P.)/C.P. = 0.25
  We get x = 20
  So He is adding 100-20 i.e. 80g of butter is sold at rs. 100 means 20g of adulterated fat is added,
  
  So, 20/100 * 100 = 20% adulterated fat is present in the mixture.
