if a:(b+c)=1:3 and c:(a+b)=5:7,then b:(a+c) is what?

• a/b+c=1/3......(i)
  c/a+b=5/7......(ii)
  from (i) 3a=b+c multiply by 5
  from (ii)5a+5b=7c
  solve both equations we will get a=3c/5
  put a=3c/5 in equation (i)
  from there we get b=4c/5
  now equate the values of a,b and c in b/(a+c)...
  we get b:(a+c)=1:2
