16 women take 12 days to complete a work.
in one day 16 women do 1/12 th of work.
in one day 1 woman does 1/(16*12) = 1/192 th of work.

12 men do same work in 8 days.
1 man can do in one day 1/96 th of work.

16 men for 3 days did = 16 * 1/96 * 3 = 1/2 of work.

now there are : 6 men and 4 women.
They can do in one day : 6 * 1/96 + 4 * 1/192 = 1/12th of work

Hence they take 6 days to complete the remaining 1/2 of work.
