with A=999...996 X 999..996 with 999...996 got 2017 number 9

• I just checked and found that
  96*96+96*96=18432 (sum consist of 9s is number of nine - 1 i.e n-1 formula)
  996*996+996*996=1984032 (996 has 2 9s but sum has only 1 nine i.e 2-1)
  9996*9996+9996*9996=199840032
  Just check one 9+9 become 8 and remaining lefts are 9s only. 2017 number 9 means A 99999(2018 times)&6
