- Explanation:-
The Cost price of 1 kg cashewnuts = Rs.250
The selling price of 50 g cashewnuts = Rs.10
The selling price of 1 kg cashewnuts = 20 x 10 = Rs.200
Loss = Cost price – Selling price
Loss = 250 – 200 = Rs.50
Loss% = Loss x 100/Cost price
Loss% = 50 x 100/250 = 20%
Hence, the answer is 20% loss - 7 years agoHelpfull: Yes(14) No(0)

- since sp=rs10 per 50gms
actually 1kg=1000gms
so for 50gms=0.05kg
so sp=10*0.05
sp=rs 0.5
now ,,,cp=rs 250 for 1 kg
so for 0.05kg cp=12.5
since cp>sp we get loss
and loss=12.5-0.5
loss=12
loss%=12/12.5*100
loss%=96 - 7 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(15)
