• wrong question....bcz x,y lie between 1 to...?

• For unit place to be zero, (x, y) should have combinations like (2,8),(8,2),(4,6),(6,4)
  For (2,8), (8,2),(4,6),(6,4) there are 10*10 +10*10+10*10+10*10 possibilities
  Total possibilities = 40*40
  Hence req ans=400/1600=1/4
