Ram has twice the amount of money that Shyam has. If Shyam gets Rs. 20, he will have Rs. 30 less than Ram. How much money does Ram have?

  if shyam gets 20rs than amt become x+20
  similarly shyam amt will 30rs less than ram it mean ram amt become 2x-30 now
  2x-30=x+20
  x=50(shyam amt)

• assume that shyam has x rupee,so ram has 2x. now shyam get 20 rupee so x+20 =2x-30.
  solve it you get x=50.so ram has 2*50=100 rupee.

  X=30+20

  Now,
  
  X + 20 = Y - 30
  X + 20 + 30 = Y

  Y = 2X
  
  Therefore Y = 100

  If Shyam gets Rs.20 then Shyam amount of money = y+20.
  Then he will have Rs.30 less than Ram => x-30 = y+20
  => 2y -30 = y+20
  => y = Rs. 50;
  => x =2y = 2* 50 = Rs.100
  
  So Amount of money Ram has (x) is Rs. 100
