In a row of girls, Abhi is 15th from the left and Suchi is 23rd from the right. If they interchange their positions, Abhi becomes 18th from the left, then how many girls are there in the row?

Let me explain this -
Total = Interchanged Position + Original Position from the right - 1.
Therefore here on putting the values, we get :

- Abhi is 15th from the left so there are 15 girls left to Abhi. Now Suchi is 23rd from right so there are 23 girls to the right to Suchi. Now when they swap their positions, Abhi becomes the 18th girl from Left. That means there are 3 girls in between Abhi and Suchi. So the total number of girls are (15+3+23)=41.
