Length, Breadth and Height of a 3D figure is in the ratio 3:2:1. If the length is doubled and Breadth & Height are halved, then what is the % decrease in the volume of the solid?
Read Solution (Total 1)
-
- Let the initial length=30, breadth=20 and height=10, so volume=30x20x10=6000 unit³
New length=60, breadth=10, height=5, so new volume=60x10x5=3000 unit³
So % decrease in volume=(6000-3000)x100/6000 = 50 - 7 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
