  so the total trip divide into 4 equal part fare for each part to be=x= 300/4=75
  the fare for Bandra--x--colaba--x--Bandra = 75*2=150=2x
  this portion is share by three passengers so the cost for each = 50

  Bandra is halfway between Andheri and Colaba… So from Andheri to Colaba the fare is Rs.150…3 of them travelling from andheri to colaba… So, each one has to pay Rs.50 for this portion of trip…

• Answer is
  Per trip costs 150Rs totally.But the students travel half the distance as Mr.Subramaniam does. So they have to share the cost in the ratio 2:1:1
  So, 150*(1/4)=37.5 Rs, Therfore each student has to pay 37.5*2=75 Rs and Mr.Subramaniam has to pay Rs 150...
