The cost of 3 bananas, 4 apples and 6 mangoes is Rs. 29 and the cost of 2 banas, 6 apples and 3 mangoes is Rs. 23. What is the cost of 7 bananas, 16 apples and 12 mangoes?
Read Solution (Total 2)
-
- Rs. 75
Let cost of 1 banana, 1 apple and 1 mango be b, a and m respectively, then
3b + 4a + 6m = 29 ---(i) and
2b + 6a + 3m = 23 ---(ii)
As we need cost of 7 bananas, 16 apples and 12 mangoes, so multiply equation (ii) by 2, we get
4b + 12a + 6m = 46 ---(iii)
Now adding equation (i) & (iii), we get 7b + 16a + 12m = 75 - 6 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(1)
