sum.‖ Then A‘s brother‘s age is ?
A) 45
B) 54
C) 25
D) 52
E) None
Read Solution (Total 2)
-
- B) 54
Let A's age=10x+y, then his brother's age=10y+x
Given, difference of their age = (1/11)*Sum of their ages
=> (10y+x) - (10x+y) = (1/11)*(10y+x) - (10x+y)
=> 5x = 4y
Above condition satisfies for x=4, y=5
Hence A's age=45 and his brother's age=54 - 6 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
- Ans:45
45 is reversed the answer become 54.54 is greater than 45.sum of their ages is 99.difference is 9.so 9 is 11 times of 99.so all the conditions satisfied.so answer is 45 - 6 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
