In the cultural function 450 students participated. Ratio of number of boys to the number of girls is 5:4 respectively. Out of the total girls 20% participated in singing and remaining girls participated in dance, drama and speech in the ratio 2:3:3 respectively. Two-five of the total boys participated in drama and remaining boys participated in dance and singing in the ratio 3:2. What is the ratio of number of boys to the number of girls who have participated in dance ?

5x + 4x = 450, x = 50 therefore , boys = 250 , girls = 200
2x+3x+3x = 160
therefore girls for dance = 40, drama = 60 and speech = 60
for boys ,
drama :- 2/5 ( 250) = 100
250-100 = 150 remaining
for dance and singing 3x+2x = 150
x=30 , dance = 90, singing = 60
ratio of no of boys to girls participated in dance is 90 : 40 that's why answer is B)
