Meena has some money. She can buy 40 books or 90 pens with it. She keeps 20% of the money for food and with the remaining buys 36 pens and some books. Find the number of books she buys.

40B=100 => B=2.5rs
90P=100 => P=10/9rs

20% ie 20rs spent on food
Remaining =100-20=80rs

x no of books + 36 pens = 80
x * 2.5 + 36*10/9 =80
2.5x=80-40
x=40/2.5=16
