The average marks of a student in 7 subjects is 84. Of these, the highest marks are 3 more than the one next in value. If these two subjects are eliminated, the average marks of the remaining subjects are 81. What are the highest marks obtained by him?

Let highest marks be x
As per the given condition,
Sum of 5 subjects + x +( x -3 )= 588
(5*81) + 2x - 3=588
405 +2x= 588 - 3
2x=591 - 405

X= 93
