- Let us consider the division it would be x,y,z
Now
x+y=y+z+18(given)
x=z+18( let's us not run to the conclusion and say that z is 18)
x+y+z=90
x=z+18 (now there are two conclusions either y is the smaller part or z but not x)
Let us put first y as 18 and x as z+18
z+18+18+z=90
2z+36=90
2z=90-36
2z=54
z=27
So x = z+18
x=27+18
x=45
P.S since there are options 36,36,18 would not be a solution if this was a subjective question it could be challenging as this question has multiple number of solutions...

if x is first part and 18 is third part, then 72-x is second part.
x+72-x= 18+(72-x)+18= 108-x
