- After the coach was appointed the team won 85 5/7 % i.e 6/7 of 35 matches , But overwall performance was only 50%
Let they played x matches before new coach is assigned and won about y matches
Success rate = (No. Of Success)/(No. of attempt)
No. of success = no. of match won = 6/7 *35 + y = 30 + y
No. of attempt= 35+x
Success rate = (30+y)/(35+x) = 1/2 ( 50% given)
x = 60 + 2*y -35
Now we need minimum no of matches to be played before the new coach took over.... Hence put y = 0
i.e no. of match won before coach took over = 0
x = 60 + 0 - 35
x = 25 Ans - 8 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(0)
