- The answer is (b)3 becuase in first two time it may be 2 red, 2 blue or 1 red or 1 blue..
so if it took in 3rd chance it surely get the 2 socks of same color - 13 years agoHelpfull: Yes(26) No(5)
- we will go by options
1) 2=> in this (1 blue , 1 red)
2) 3=> in this (2 same color, 1 different)
3) 48=> dont have to take all
4) 25=> can be a answer - 13 years agoHelpfull: Yes(24) No(39)

- By Conditional probablity,
The probablity of taking 1Red socks from 24 red= 24 C 1= 24/1 =24
The probablity of taking 1Blue socks from 24 Blue= 24 C 1= 24/1 =24
So the total probablity of taking 1Red n 1Blue Socks= 24+24=48.
So 48 will be the answer.. - 13 years agoHelpfull: Yes(8) No(66)
- ans is 25
bcoz first we pick one socks it might be red or blue.then there is a possibility that in the next 24 picks it might be the different coloured socks from the socks we picked earlier..so after these 25 picks the next coming socks would definitely be of our first picked colour socks - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(7) No(4)
- 3 bcoz 1 taken another taken but it may diff but if we take another that means 2 must be in same color
- 13 years agoHelpfull: Yes(6) No(3)
- it must be 25 why bcoz if we observe the question at two of same color that means any of 24 it mean we must take all blue of all reds so we get requirement

- ANS is 25.
for first pick suppose it comes a red one. But then for the next 24 times it becomes all blue. Then only we can get an another red shock. so total 25 for minimum one same pair. - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(2) No(2)
- ans is 3 because if u take 3 shocks then definitely 2 shocks are same in colour

- ans will be 25......if we choose 3 socks there is a posibility that all the three may be same colour

- if u take randmoly any socks which colur is red and second time if you take any colour socks which clour is also red and third time if you take which colur may be red or blue so tha t we can easaily make pair of sockls ...

- Ans will be 25
Let we take one by one
1st time we found one color say blue
2nd time it found red
3rd time again red (may be blue but if it is red ) then
again red ......and so On
when we select all 24 red then 25th attempt 100% will be blue
so we have required 25 drawn - 8 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(3)
- b.3
if we pick 3 socks atleast 2 socks will be same in color - 6 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
- At least 2 we can take 2 and more than 2
Now we take 3 socks randomly 3c2 to get
