Read Solution (Total 3)
-
- ans:-265
for 6 month for vinay:-
si=12000*x*.5/100
si=60*x
where x=rate
after 6 month
he withdraw 6000
so
new si=6000*x*.5/100
si=30*x
total si for vinay=90*x
similar for verma
it is 105*x
profit=3445=90*x+105*x
x=17.66
so difference=105*x-90*x
difference=265

- ((12000*6)+(6000*6)):((9000*6)+(6000*6))
=108000:90000
so share of vinay=54/99*3445=1879.09
share of varma=45/99*3445=1565.90
the diffrnce are=1879.09-1565.90=313.19 - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
- Vinay's total investment for the year is:
First six months he invested 12000*6 = 72,000.
Next six months he withdrew 6000 rupees from his investment, hence
(12,000 - 6,000)*6 = 36,000.
Total Vinay's investment = 72,000 + 36,000 = 1,08,000
Varma's total investment for the year is:
First six months he invested 9000*6 = 54,000.
Next six months he invested 3000 keeping his 9000 as it is hence he invested
(9000+3000)*6 = 12,000*6 = 72,000.
Total Verma's investment = (9000*6)+(12000*6)= 54,000+72,000 = 1,26,000.
Vinay : Verma = 1,08,000 : 1,26,000 = 6:7
Vinay's share = 6x, Verma's share = 7x
x = 3445/13 = 265.
Vinay's share = 265 * 6, Verma's share = 265 * 7.
Difference = 265(7-6) = 265. - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
