- The next sequence is 29/55.
numerator follow the sequence of prime number by choosing next to next prime number i.e 1,3,7,13,19...here prime number 2,5,11,17 is ignored..
but the denomtr follow the different sequence...the numbers are 0,1,3,8,21 and the difference of these numbers r 1,2,5,13 now...
first number=0
second number=first number+difference of first and second number=0+1=1
third number=second number+difference of second and third number=1+2=3
.
.
.
fifth number=forth number+difference of forth & fifth number=8+13=21
so, the difference of fifth and sixth number is 13+21=34
sixth number is 34+21=55
the final sequence is 1/0,3/1,7/3,13/8,19/21,29,55

- Same answer 29/55 with some changes
Numerator => 1 , 3 , 7 , 13 , 19 , 29 ----> Same reason...
Denominator => 0 , 1 , 3 , 8 , 21 , x
nth term = 3*(n-1)th - (n-2)nd
3 = 3*1 - 0
8 = 3*3 - 1
21 = 3*8 - 1
=> x = 3*21 - 8 = 55
=> next term = 29/55 - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(0)
