a printer begin printing at 7:54 am,at the rate of 104 forms per min. another printer begin at 8:20am. printing 117 forms per min. at what time will the two printer have printed the same number of forms

• diff between 8.20 am ~ 7.54 am = 26 min
  here x is time taken to print same no of forms
  x*104 + 26*x = x*117
  so x=208min
  208 min after 8.20 is... 11.48 am

  difference is 26 mins
  during this 26 mins first printer prints (26*104) = 2704 forms
  take the time as 'x' in which both printer prints same no of forms.
  so...
  117*x = 2704+(104*x)
  13x = 2704
  x = 208 mins
  which is 3 hrs 28 mins...
  so 8.20 + 2.28 = 11.44am

  therefore during this time no. of forms printed by p1=26*104=2704 forms
  printer p2 prints 13 forms per min more than p1.(117-104=13)
  Now when p2 starts at 8:20 it has to print 2704 more forms than p1 to equal the number of forms printed.
  time required to print 2704 more forms than p1= 2704/13=208 mins=3h 28 min
  therefore Time will be 8:20+3:28=11:48 am

  suppose two printer have printed the same number of forms after x hrs
  then 104x = 117(x-26), (its bcz later printer starts printing after 26 minutes)
  now , 117*26 = 117x-104x
  3042 = 13x
  234 min =x
  now add 234min to 7:54 & u will get ur ans. that is 11:48 am

  therefor,difference is 8 mins.
  1st printer prints in 8mins=(104*8)=832 forms by which it leads.
  2nd printer prints 13forms more than 1st one in 1min.
  therefore,the two printers meet each other (832/13)=64 mins after starting of 2nd one.At 9:06am.

  for 2nd printer number of forms after it start = 117t
  
  as per condition
  117t=26*104+104t
  i.e t= (26*104)/13
  =208
  i.e 3hours 22min
  
  hence at 8:20 + 3hour 20min they will print same number of forms
  i.e at 11:44 AM is the answer

  so, x/104=x/117+26
  or, x=(2*104*117)
  so the two printer will print same no of form after (2*104*117)/104=234 min
  =3hr 54 min
  therefore the time is 11:48 am when two printer will print same no of forms.

  1st printer prints 104x forms nd 2nd printer prints 117*(x-26) forms.
  since both are equal, so
  104x=117(x-26)
  => x=234 min=3hr 54min
  so required time is 7.54am + 3hr 54 min
  =11.48 am

  2nd printr---->8:20-------------->117 forms
  diffrence in time is -->26 min.
  diffrecne in forms is--->13
  26*104=2704
  2704 divided by 13 =208 min*(i.e 3h.46min)
  so,8.20+3.46=11.48
