If the equation x2 - 3x + a = 0 has the roots (0,1) then value of a is ?

• ANS: a= 0 or 2
  On substituting x=0 in eqn we get a=0.
  On substituting x=1 in eqn we get a=2.
  Therefore a=0 or 2.

  x(x-1)=0
  x=0,x=1
