There were three rooms. Each room has only one door. Any one of the three rooms has cheese. A rat was there and it needs to find the correct room that contains cheese. If rat went into a room and if couldn’t find cheese and once it comes out of the room the rat forgets about that. How many times the rat must enter the rooms to find which room contains cheese?

• only three ways. because if rat goes to all the three rooms and it finds the cheese in the last third room. because rats have a gud smelling sence of cheese. it doesnt matter about the rooms. even if it finds the cheese in the first rooms it can smell and find it.........

  Worst case scenario: infinity(unless rat makes some kind of mark on doors then it is 3).
  Practical answer: Rat smell cheese ... it will find cheese in a single go. It doesn't needs to check every room.

  else go to next adjacent room.If cheese is found there,the rat doesn't have to go to the next adjacent room.No third time needed,because it will be confirmed that the cheese would be present in that third room(as per the question).
