a task can be completed by D and E with in 12 days if they worked together . E and F however can complete with in period of 20 days .
if three of them agree to work together then how many days will be required to complete the task ?

- Given, D+E --> 12 days and E+F--> 20 days
Therefore, Total work done = L.C.M. of 12 and 20 = 60
=> Rate of work for D+E = 60/12 = 5 -->equation 1
Rate of work for E+F = 60/20 = 3 -->equation 2
Now, we'll have to find the rate of work for D+E+F to calculate the no. of days... but how !!!
