What is difference between the two 3 digit numbers,which forms the maximum & minimum numbers when digits are reversed, considering all the three digits to be different other than zero?

- Largest 3 digit number must contain 9 in it's 100th place & smallest 3 digit number must contain 1 in it's units place
So,3 digit numbers,which forms the maximum & minimum numbers when digits are reversed must be of the form 9_1(max)& when reversed 1_9(min)
eg. 981-189=792

- it was said three digits should be different so we can't conisder 999 as maximum three digit no and this will happen till we come back upto 987 but we are asked to get the minimum three digit no when the maximum no is reversed so 987 couldn't serve the purpose so move on back to 981 which can form 189 when reversed so 981-189 gives "792" so the answer is 792
