In an office there are 75% skilled workers and remaining are Unskilled. 80% of skilled workers and 20% of unskilled workers are permanent. If number of temporary workers is 189, then what is the number of total workers?

skilled workers = 75%of x
unskilled workers = 25%of x
permanent workers = 80% of 75% of x + 20% of 25% ofx
temporary workers = 20% of 75%ofx +80% of 25% of x = 189
=> 15%ofx+20% of x = 189

Given % of Skilled workers=75, so unskilled workers=25
% of Permanent workers=75*0.8+25*0.2=60+5=65, So % of temporary workers=35
As 35% workers=189, so Total workers=100*189/35 =540
