Let speed of train A=x kmph,B=y kmph
if they head towards each other
then distance covered by each train before they met is x km and y km since time taken is 1hour
therefore x+y=220 .......eq(1)
if they move in same direction then suppose train B covered a km when they met
then a=y*11 (time is 11hours)
similarly for train A 220+a=x*11
removing a will give x-y=20
from eq(1) x+y=220
this will give x=120kmph
and y=100kmph
