first thing is, both of the numbers 124 and 220 are in base 6 not 10.
so there are two ways:

1. Convert both numbers in decimal, multiply them and the again divide by 6 and collect the reminders.

2. multiply direct but keep in mind that numbers are in base 6, so 2*4!=8 actually it is equal to 12. Because we multiply 2 and 4 according to decimal number system so after multiplication of 2 and 4 (equals to 8) convert 8 to base 6.

and we note the remainder from bottom to up.....
