The New York Public Library is one of the world's greatest repositories of books and journals. It has a beautiful reading room facing Manhattan's famous Fifth Avenue. lathe reading room are 10 reading spots. Each reading spot consists of a round table with 4 chairs placed around it. There are some readers such that in each occupied reading spot there are different numbers of readers. If in all there are 10 readers: how many reading spots are empty?

• 6 because there are totally 10 spots with 4 chairs
  in 1 st spot there are 4 chairs n 4 occupied.
  in 2nd spot 3 occupied
  in 3rd 2 occupied
  in 4 th 1 occupied
  so totally 4 spots occupied with 10 mem n remaining are 6 spots.

• 6 reading spots are empty because there are 10 spot each having 4 chair if 1st spot was occupied by 4 reader 2nd spot was occupied by 3readers 3rd spot was occupied by 2 readers and 4th spot was occupied by 1 reader so totally 6 is remaining empty

• total there are 10 persons and thus the total 10 tables can be filled
  by
  1,2,3,4 persons so total 10 persons are filled therefore 4 tables are occupied
  and thus 6 are unoccupied
