How square series is generated?

Square series is generated by adding odd numbers

1^2 = 1
2^2 = 1 + 3
3^2 = 1 + 3 + 5
4^2 = 1 + 3 + 5 + 7
and so on

=> Square of n = sum of first n odd numbers.
