Distance travelled before 1st bounce = 24m = 2*24 - 24 m
Before 2nd bounce = 2*(2/3)*24 m
Before 3rd bounce = 2*(2/3)^2*24 m

Ball comes to rest at infinity
=> Total distace travelled = 2*(24 + (2/3)24 + (2/3)^2*24 + ...) - 24
= 2*24/(1-(2/3)) - 24
= 144 - 24
= 120 m
