Each alphabet A,B.. Z is a constant.A=1,B=2,C=3^2,D=4^9 n so on.Each letter is assigned a value -the position of that letter raised to the value of preceding alphabet.(C = 3 ^B,D= 4 ^ C n so on) Compute the numerical value of (X-A)(X-B)(X-C)....(X-Y)(X-Z).

- answer is 0.
let us assume value of X is X^W according to condition.
then,
(X-A)*(X-B)*.........(X-X)*.....(X-Z).
which is (X-A)*........*0*......(X-Z).
so answer is 0. - 13 years agoHelpfull: Yes(4) No(0)
- the answer is 0
in this problem there no need for any values it is just given to confuse. this problem has to be solved logically .
here the equation is given as (X-A)*(X-B)*.........(X-Y)*(X-Z).which also implies that "(X-X)" is a term of that equation . naturally the value of "(x-x)" is "0" since x is a constant and any no multiplied by zero is zero.
(X-A)*(X-B)*....(X-X)*.....(X-Y)*(X-Z)=(X-A)*(X-B)*....(0)*.....(X-Y)*(X-Z)= "0"
so answer is 0.

- answer is 0.
bcoz in the eqn there will be a term (X-X) at that point it has same value...n we get 0 in multiply..so the final ans is zero
(X-A)*(X-B)*.........(X-X)*.....(X-Z).
which is (X-A)*........*0*......(X-Z).
so answer is 0. - 13 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
