Increase area of a square by 69%, and then by what percent should the side be increased?

• if the prev. area was 100 sq. unit , we can take a side as 10 unit. if the area is now 169 sq. unit, then we can take a side as 13 unit. so , in 10 unit 3 unit is increased. so % of increase, 30 %.

  then area =a^2=100
  69%incriease=100+69=169=(13)^2
  now side=13 incriment=13-10=3 -> %incriease=(3/10)*100=30%

  X*X=169/100--------->(69%=169/100)
  x^2=13^2
  so 130/100*130/100=169/100
  the answer is 30%-------?(130/100=30%)
