- Since the car has met the person 20 minutes before hand, it has actually saved 10 mins of journey (to and fro)
since the man has started 1.30 hrs before and car has met him 10 mins before actual time he takes to reach daily is 1hr and 20 mins - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(9) No(20)

- If Man reaches to his house befour 20 minutes by his usual time ,means he meet his vehicle befour 10 min of his usual time. The distance walk by him in 1:30hr is equal to distance cover by the vehicle in 10 min. hence 1:30-0:10= 1:20 mins........means he reach at home by the 8:30PM usually

- If we assume that the man had called his driver(real world scenario generally anyone will do) at 5:30 and the driver leave the house at 5:30 then the time required to reach the office is 1hr 30 min because as given the man must meet the driver at 6:50 and it will take another 10 min to reach office by car so the total time required to reach the office from home by car is 1hr 30 min which is same as time required to reach home from office.
