- for 4*4 matrix, let us proceed in opposite direction, let us calculate the num of combinations with which we cant create a triangle
1)consider the 1st column; if u take any three points of the first column, u cant create a triangle, so by using those four points, 4c3 combo are available which cant create a triangle
such 4 columns are present in total
here 4+4+4+4=16 combinations
2) now take row wise
same as above so here also 4+4+4+4=16 combinations
3) now diagonal wise
s0 two diagonals are present i.e 4+4=8
other than these combo, if u take any three points in the matrix, u can create a triangle
in 4*4 matrix, in total 16c3 combo are present 16c3=560
the required combo are 560-(16+16+8)=520
i.e we can create 520 triangles with 4*4 matrix
