there are 5 different boxes b1,b2,b3,b4,b5 and 5 different hats h1,h2,h3,h4,h5. the hats are to b distributed among boxes.each box can accommodate all hats. what is the probability that b1 has either h1 or h2?? explain

I take it that "either H1 or H2" includes both H1 & H2.
If B1 has H1, each of the other 4 hats has 5 choices for boxes, thus 5^4 ways
similarly, if B1 has H2 , another 5^4 ways
but this double counts if B1 has both H1 & H2,
the remaining 3 have 5 choices each, 5^3 ways
thus ans = 2*5^4 - 5^3 = 1125
