  now correct solution is...
  original area=a*b where a and b are sides
  after increase in side increase in area will be=(((2a*2b)-(a*b))*100)/(a*b)=300%

• before increased sides area=2(a+b) where a and b are sides of rectangle
  after increase sides will be 2a,2b
  hence % increase in area=((2*(2a+2b)-2*(a+b))*100)/2*(a+b)=100%
