In North Carolina, is it legal for a man to marry his widow's sister?

• Yes, it is legal for a man to marry his deceased spouse's sister. You are a widower, your wife would be the widow if you were dead. That aside, there is no reason you can't marry her, although that's not exactly morally or ethically right. Talk about keeping it in the family!
