  vote cast for praja party in Nation General Election =(2,60,000-1.25x)
  praja party won the assembly poll by (2,60,000-x)-x votes
  praja prty lost NGE by (1.25x-(2,60,000-1.25x))
  so, 2(2,60,000-2x)=(1.25x-(2,60,000-1.25x))
  5,20,000-4x=2.5x-2,60,000
  x=1,20,000
  In assembly election praja party got 2,60,000-1,20,000=1,40,000 votes

  Given Diff. in (i) when Praja Party won is twice as diff. in (ii) when lost
  so 2(260000-x-x)=1.25x-(260000-1.25x) or
  520000-4x=2.5x-260000 ,6.5x=780000 ,x=120000
  So Votes for Praja Party in Current Election=260000-1.25x
