I have to catch a train by 6 AM. there is still time remaining to catch the
train. My friend told me that 50 min ago the time remaining was 3 times as
much time as that after 3 AM. How much time is remaining for my train?

  At t1 it was told 50 mins ago (t2)time left is 3 times a left at 3AM which is 3 hrs.So time at t2 is 3*3=9 hrs so t1=9hrs- 50 mins=8hrs 10mins

• let there b x time remaining to catch the train. so time left before 50 min would be x+5/6. becoc time x is taken in hour. According to question this x+5/6=3*3
  x=9-5/6
  = 49/6
  =8 1/6
  = 8 hr 10 min
